Bear's Den share their name with a small town in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Thankfully, this is where the similarities end. Bear's Den actually hail from West London, infamous for churning out folk-acts such Noah and The Whale, Laura Marling and Mystery Jets. And despite sharing the name of their single Pompeii with Bastille, the three-piece could not sit further away on the Indie spectrum from their South London neighbours.

Their do-it-yourself indie-folk infuses jangly banjos and delicate melodies with beautifully sombre lyrics that is the musical chicken soup for your soul. With an upcoming tour supporting Mumford and Sons, and an ever-growing fanbase, Bear's Den are a name to look out for in 2013. Who knows, their success may even cause the tourist board of Bearsden, East Dunbartonshire to receive an influx of indie kid tourists over the summer.
